In 2023 we completed our guest room renovation from the 13th to 16th floor while the hotel was operating all the lower floors and restaurants. Due to the re-configuration of guest rooms, (99 guest rooms and suites turned into 125 guest rooms) the noise level was extremely high. My team and I worked on the schedules in which the noisy work could take place, minimizing the negative impact on our in-house guests. The renovation took place from March to October and was re-opened in record time including deep cleaning and snagging.

2023 marked the year in which I re-started the UAE professional Housekeeping Group meetings. 

During September 2023, I collaborated with Diversey on the “Super-Keeper Olympics” which took place at the Address Sky View Hotel. 24 teams competed against each other in a bed and room making competition. 

Since January 2024, our Offices have become paper-free. All forms and reports are now generated digital. 

I have been awarded the Industry Personality of the year in 2023 from the MECHF and the Woman in Cleaning in 2024 also from MECHF.
