5,000 tons of waste cleared from Arafat during massive Hajj clean-up operation
Holy Makkah Municipality removed more than 5,000 tons of waste from Arafat during Hajj 1447 AH as part of extensive cleanliness and environmental health operations in the holy sites. According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the waste removed from Arafat was equivalent to the loads of more than 330 large transport trucks during one of the biggest sanitation drives carried out during the Hajj season.
