The Saudi Arabia Cleaning, Waste Management and FM Awards, held on 3rd November, 2022 celebrated the achievements of the three industries and provided them with much needed recognition. The awards,
organized by Media Fusion, were supported by Reza Hygiene. We spoke to Andrew Turner, Institutional Division Manager, Middle East, Reza Hygiene, to hear his thoughts about the awards.
Tell us about your opinion of the SACWFM awards. Why did you support the awards? What was your vision behind it?
These awards were a fantastic way to recognize industry professionals and peers in what is the fastest growing country in the region. To host an award ceremony like this in Saudi Arabia shows how far the kingdom has become and was a testament to the progression within the kingdom. Reza Hygiene was proud to support the awards as they promote improvement, encourage collaboration and boost the industry's image.
Why do you think it is important to recognize the commercial cleaning, waste management and FM industries in KSA?
It is imperative to recognize success in any industry to encourage and promote future success. Awards like these drive businesses and the personnel involved to higher and more ambitious standards
What have been the biggest achievements of the commercial cleaning industry in KSA?
The biggest achievements have been a significant improvement in standards across all sectors in the kingdom. Commercial cleaning has been professionalized across the board and we are seeing some of the highest standards in the world in Saudi Arabia. The launch of Vision 2030 has seen companies embrace Sustainable cleaning practices in all sectors with Saudi being at the forefront of sustainable Hygiene and practices.
What has been Reza Hygiene's biggest achievement in this growth?
Reza Hygiene was proud to see so many of our customer partners win awards at the ceremony and feel that our partnership with the leaders in the industry assist in the region's growth.
What does the future of cleaning businesses look like in KSA? Tell us about its potential?
The future of the cleaning industry in Saudi Arabia is golden. With vision 2030 and the current mega projects such as; Redsea/Amaala, Neom, Qiddiya, Diriyah gate and many others mean huge potential growth in our sector. Sustainability is going to be key for all involved and it will be fantastic to be part of its growth and evolution over the next decade.
