Muscat Municipality has urged residents to observe public etiquette during Ramadan gatherings in order to preserve the cleanliness of the city and ensure the convenience of all community members.
In an awareness message shared by the municipality in cooperation with Muscat Governorate, residents were reminded that Ramadan gatherings represent an important opportunity to strengthen social ties, but should also be conducted with respect for public spaces and neighbourhoods.
The guidelines call on the public to respect the privacy and convenience of others, avoid blocking walkways and sidewalks during gatherings, and maintain quiet in residential areas, especially during late evening hours.
Residents were also encouraged to keep public places clean after gatherings and to use parks and other public facilities responsibly.
The municipality said the initiative is part of its efforts to promote civic responsibility during the holy month, ensuring that Ramadan celebrations remain enjoyable while preserving the city’s order and community harmony.
