The contract will involve provision of multitechnical and specialized facilities management services at Sharjah International Airport.
This is the first ever aviationrelated FM contract for MAF Dalkia, since its inception in the region in 2002, and the company is set to leverage its previous worldwide expertise in managing and operating similar facilities. The company will also focus on the delivery of services with an environment, quality and health and safety mindset. The agreement was signed between Eng. Abdulwahab Mohammed Khalfan Al Roomi, SDCA’s director general; and MAF Dalkia’s chief executive officer, Alexandre Mussallam.

Al Roomi said that this (agreement) “reflects Sharjah International Airport’s keen interest to keep and maintain all its facilities, making sure that they operate efficiently round the clock. No doubt, the agreement will help the airport’s Engineering Department to function properly amidst rapidly growing movement of passengers, aircraft and airfreight during the recent years.”
Counting on its wide experience in FM, high performance and efficient staff, Adbulwahab Mohammed Khalfan noted that MAF Dalkia will be a significant asset that will help aintain the high-class level of service at Sharjah International Airport. He added that airports encounter necessary technical issues that directly affect the safety of airplanes and staff in all departments. However, such equipment and devices should function efficiently and be subject to periodical ongoing maintenance; with the availability of a competent FM provider.
”We will provide our distinguished experience and services to the airport in order to maintain its leading position on the local, regional nd international levels. We will perform our duties to the full satisfaction of the DCA,” asserted MAF Dalkia’s CEO, Alexandre Mussallam.
