Your opinion about the soft FM landscape today.
According to P&S Intelligence, Saudi Arabia’s facility management market is expected to demonstrate growth of eleven per cent (CAGR) over the period through to 2030. At Musanadah, we are currently recording an annual growth rate of 21 per cent - nearly double the industry average due to a range of initiatives introduced.
Significantly, clients are demanding the highest international FM service delivery standards. This demand is changing the soft FM landscape not only in Saudi Arabia, but also across the Middle East.
The challenges in soft FM
Consistency is key. Clients with multiple locations do not want different standards of cleanliness from one site to another. Achieving consistency in soft FM services delivery standards in an expansive country the size of Saudi Arabia is only possible through regular staff training. Internationally recognized training programs should be part of any FM providers’ service delivery mission.
Your advice to young soft FM professionals.
My advice to young soft FM professionals is to seek work with an FM organization that invests in its people through training. Recognized training equips soft FM professionals with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in cleaning and hygiene, positioning them as specialists in their roles.
