CMEC UAE 2026: A RECAP

The Clean Middle East Conference (CMEC) UAE 2026 concluded on 24 September at JW Marriott Marina, Dubai, bringing together around 1,000 professionals from across the cleaning, hygiene, housekeeping, laundry, healthcare, food hygiene and Soft FM sectors.

Held over two days, CMEC UAE 2026 marked a significant evolution of the platform — expanding from a traditional conference into a broader industry gathering designed around knowledge, networking, solution discovery and business connections.

The 2026 edition addressed some of the most pressing issues facing the industry, including workforce transformation, ESG reporting, supply chain resilience, artificial intelligence, sustainability, housekeeping wellbeing, healthcare hygiene, food safety and water scarcity.

The event featured a combination of keynote addresses, expert talks, panel discussions, audience activities, industry recognition and specialist roundtables, creating an environment where industry leaders could share practical experiences and debate the challenges shaping the future of cleaning and facility management.

CMEC UAE 2026 also featured two specialist knowledge platforms alongside the main conference: the Food Service Hygiene Dialogue and the Healthcare Hygiene Dialogue, broadening the event's relevance across adjacent sectors.

With approximately 1,000 attendees, the 2026 edition represented substantial growth from the 350+ attendees recorded for the 2025 edition — demonstrating the growing relevance of CMEC as a meeting point for the regional cleaning, hygiene and Soft FM community.
