Yousuf Sameer Syed is a successful Executive Housekeeper with experience of over a decade in managing and specialising in housekeeping operations in various countries from India, the United Kingdom, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

He currently works in Al Khoory Hotels with responsibility for overall housekeeping operations with specialisation in driving guest service standards

Some of his accomplishments are spearheading the sustainability green team with focusing on reducing waste, water and electricity consumption without affecting guest satisfaction, regular inspections for any discrepancies, programs where guests can be an active part of sustainability. All hotel associates are also regularly trained to be more active in their accommodation utilities consumption so that the sustainable way of life starts from the associate's lifestyle themselves. Yousuf is a Sustainable champion certified by Dubai Way.

He has worked on pre-opening projects of setting 4 stars,  3 stars, hotel apartments properties and staff accommodation. His special projects include adding new apartments in room inventory and assisting it for approvals from DTCM and Dubai Municipality.

Yousuf has actively set up more than 160 Housekeeping Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) which covered the entire housekeeping operations (theory and practical wise) to make sure standard in all hotels is consistent. Regular training and assessment tests are done to make sure the same is implemented in day-to-day operations.

He always believes in learning and implementing the learnings as it goes hand to hand and it's a continuous process for self-betterment.
