Your impact on housekeeping

Each and every aspect of my working life transforms housekeeping through various ways, including:

  • Eye for details
  • Professionalism
  • Training and Development

  • Sustainability Initiatives
  • Allocation of resources to enhance productivity
  • Cost Management
  • Safety Protocols
  • Leading the team from front

The challenges you faced in your housekeeping career

     I faced the following challenges:

  • High occupancy:
To tackle this, we trained all our housekeeping staff according to standard SOPs and conducted regular audits.

  • Cost and budget:
As housekeeping is one of the departments that has more expenses, we have to be more focused on our budget and cost control.

  • High guest expectations:
After COVID-19, guest expectations have increased in terms of hygiene.  Dealing with these heightened expectations can be stressful.

Training and development
It is always a difficult task for a manager to train his team about the new trend and technology of industry during high occupancy but it is a necessity that cannot be ignored. Your advice to fellow housekeeping professionals.
