The second edition of the Saudi Arabia Cleaning, Waste Management & FM (SACWFM) Awards, conducted on 6th December, 2023, celebrated the outstanding achievements and innovations of individuals and organizations dedicated to cleaning, waste management, and facility management in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. From exceptional sanitation practices to sustainable waste solutions and efficient facility maintenance, these awards showcased the best in the business.

JURY REVEAL

We are pleased to introduce and honour the jury members (commercial cleaning) who spent hours pouring over each nomination and scoring them individually.

Mr. Bassel Molaeb
Bassel Molaeb has accumulated over 13 years of infection prevention and control (IPC) experience and he is an internationally recognized infection preventionist. Currently, he works as Healthcare Advisor, Trainer & Infection Prevention & Control Consultant, The Compass Health Consultancy, UAE. He has also worked as an IPC consultant for the World Health Organization and served as a member of the annual conference committee of APIC. He was selected to be the 2019 International SHEA Ambassador. He has received several awards for his leadership roles in infection prevention and presented extensively at local, national and international levels (APIC, IPAC Canada, GCCMID, ECCMID & ICPIC).

Molaeb has a demonstrated record of experience and productive contributions to the IPC field that enhanced patient outcomes. He has a passion for training and education and supported institutions and other healthcare providers in surveillance, outbreak investigations and management, risk assessment, cleaning disinfection and sterilization and certification. He has received his Master of Public Health (concentration in Health Management and Policy) from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon and has been certified in infection prevention and control (CIC) since 2014.

Mr. Michael Rollins
Michael Rollins is an independent consultant specialising in the implementation of healthcare hygiene technology, environmental Infection prevention and integration with patient safety quality improvement initiatives. He is an active member of the Infection Prevention Society UK, Patron of the National Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals (AHCP) UK and member of the Education and Training advisory group. Michael is also an Associate Subject Matter Specialist (Environmental Infection Prevention) for Nahdat al Tamayuz, Abu Dhabi, and Environmental Education Excellence Ltd, Training company UK.

Mr. Mick Dalton

Mick Dalton MSc was a past chairman of the British institute of facilities management, founding board member of Global FM and a corporate council board member of IFMA.

Mick is a fellow of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management, IFMA Corporate Council board director, Member of IFMA, member of the Institute of Asset Management Member of the Chartered institute of Building services CIBSE and Member of IOSH.

He has held key roles in the Middle East including:

Managing Director FM for Diriyah Gate Development Authority in KSA.
Director of FM for Meraas Holdings, and Middle East Liaison for IFMA Foundation.

Senior Director of Property and Asset Management with Emaar PJSC.
Managing Director of Marafeq FM,
Managing Director of Musanadah FM,

Mick has provided Best Practice FM training (IFMA CFM) to a number of large clients both in GCC and in Europe. As Chairman of BIFM, Mick Dalton was on the founding board of Global FM. Mick has written books including best practice cleaning and maintenance published by Butterworth press.

He is recognised globally as a leader in the field of Real estate, property, workplace and Facilities Management.
