1. Kiehl KG was established in 1904 in Munich/Germany and is still a family-owned company. Kiehl ME LLC is owned 100% by J.Kiehl KG and distributes Kiehl products in the whole GCC region. With our products “Made in Germany” we are committed to protecting nature and our environment. We design our products, so that they have as little impact on the environment and resources as possible, throughout their life cycle (including transport, use and disposal). We also have committed ourselves to keep the environmental impact and energy consumption of our products at production, transport and services as low as possible. Our employees get trained on a regular basis about environmental protection and energy consumption. All these environmental principles underline our professional behaviour.

Which is your top performing product?

Sanikal-eco is an acid and chlorine-free, slightly alkaline sanitary cleaner, which dissolves everyday lime residues and deposits of lime soap as well as oily and greasy dirt. Sanikaleco leaves a fresh and intense fragrance during use and the treated surfaces are water and dirt-repellent. Sanikal-eco protects the material and Complies with the cleaning recommendations of the fitting manufacturers. Awarded with the European Ecolabel Sanikal-eco contains renewable plant-based raw materials and is Awarded with the European Ecolabel. For routine cleaning the product should be applied with a dilution ratio of 40 ml to 8 L of cold water and the consumption is very economical with 1ml/m². Sanikaleco can be used easily with the ‘Kiehl Promop System’, which provides the cleaner onsite with a ready prepared mop. With this system, the service company has maximum control on standards and product consumption, as each mop and cleaning cloth is prepared only with the amount of cleaning solution actually needed.

What makes you an ideal cleaning partner?

 In the last ten years, Kiehl ME LLC has worked very closely with FM companies in the region that offer soft services and has helped them increase their cleaning efficacy. The company starts with product training and sometimes even general cleaning training for FM for everyone right from the cleaner up to the project manager. Our slogan is ‘our product is only as good as the user’! As a result, Kiehl defines itself as a partner of FM companies beyond being just a traditional distributor. The company is by the clients’ side during the entire project contract – and is at hand in case of any issue with fast and efficient solutions. The company has a backend team at the headquarters. The preparation of cleaning recommendations and cleaning plans is a daily business at Kiehl, and this comes in especially handy during the implementation phase of new FM projects.

With its high concentrated cleaning and care products and accurate dosing systems Kiehl helps FM companies to achieve the demand in a highly competitive market. Overall, Kiehl produces over 200 products all manufactured in its factory in Germany. The UAE subsidiary keeps the recommended products per project as limited as possible to minimise the knowledge requirement of the end user (cleaner).

What are the future plans/visions of your company?

For the future, Kiehl Middle East is looking at the next 10 years and is prepared to meet any upcoming challenges. The fast growing market in the UAE and the GCC - especially the KSA - needs new ideas, and cleaning suppliers need to offer new innovative solutions. Given all of this, and with 10 years of immense experience under its belt, Kiehl Middle East is definitely ready for the future hand in hand with its FM partners.
