Tell us about your range of products?
Dyson creates problem solving technologies for haircare, air purification, robotics, lighting and hand drying. From the world’s first cyclonic bagless vacuum cleaner, to hand dryers that use high-speed sheets of air to remove moisture from hands, to a completely re-thought hair dryer with its motor in the handle, the company is relentless about engineering better solutions.
Which is your top performing product?
The Dyson Airblade 9kJ hand dryer is the fastest, most energy efficient HEPA-filtered hand dryer on the market. With a Curved Blade™ design and cutting-edge technology, the machine enables people to dry their hands quickly and hygienically, while using low energy and offering an effective alternative to single-use paper towels.
What are its application areas?
The Dyson Airblade™ 9kJ hand dryer is designed to suit any commercial or public washroom, from offices, shopping malls and restaurants, to public spaces, amusement parks, schools, hospitals and hotels. Its robust design and stainless-steel body is built to last and rigorously tested to withstand real-life washroom conditions.
What makes it unique?
The Dyson Airblade 9kJ hand dryer machine is the result of three years in development and over 700 prototypes. The result is the quietest Dyson Airblade hand dryer yet, powered by the Dyson digital motor V4 that shifts 23 litres of air per second, drying hands in 10 seconds. Thanks to advances in our motor and airflow technology, it uses up to 80% less energy than the original Dyson Airblade hand dryer, while producing up to 85% less carbon dioxide emissions per dry than paper towels. Unlike many other hand dryers, the Dyson Airblade 9kJ features HEPA filters which captures 99.95% of particles, including bacteria and viruses so that the air exiting it is hygienic.
What are the future plans/visions of your company?
In the region, Dyson is committed to driving business development with the aim of expanding distribution capabilities beyond the UAE and into the wider Gulf region. Collaborations with new partners will open avenues to showcase the capabilities of Dyson Airblade Technology, directly to customers, while also educating them on why it pioneers and responds to the real problem of reducing carbon footprint and removing pollutants from the air.
