To mark 60 successful years as industry leaders, BICSc (The British Institute of Cleaning Science) announced a transformation at the organisation, which includes its ground-breaking rebranding.
BICSc, the largest, independent, professional, and educational body within the cleaning and hygiene marketplace, revealed details of its revolutionary rebrand.
With more than 45,000 individual and corporate members worldwide, the pioneering organisation has introduced its dynamic, dramatic rebrand.
Throughout its rich history and heritage, the cleaning operative has always been at the heart of all BICSc strives to achieve and the rebrand refresh will continue to convey the essence of what BICSc stands for going forward.
Michelle Iland, Marketing and Events Manager at BICSc, said: “We are thrilled to globally unveil our new, vibrant rebranding. It is the culmination of another significant step forward for the Institute, which recently celebrated six decades as industry leaders in the sector.
“This is the first time in its longstanding history the BICSc branding has undergone such a dramatic transformation. The aim was to retain and recognise our history while creating consistent branding, which brings together all elements of the extensive BICSc family.
“We are excited to announce the unveiling of our rebranding, marking yet another significant step forward for the Institute.”
While dynamic and impactful new elements have been introduced within the revamped rebranding, the essence of BICSc illustrious industry history remains an integral part of the organisation’s new look.
The iconic lion, a symbol of BICSc strength within the sector, remains an integral part of the new branding. The lion is instantly recognisable across all the new look logos to retain the integrity of the organisation’s original branding.
Michelle explained: “Within our new look logos we have conveyed the change of BICS Business Services to BICSc Training and Services for consistency in appearance, in addition to this we wanted to denote differences between membership and training.
“We retained the reference to the lion as a show of our strength and it was important to include it as a common denominator across all our new branding.”
The rebrand transformation included revitalising the CPSS, Cleanlogic™, membership and BICSc endorsed training programme logos, which all feature the striking impactful image of the lion’s head.
The lion has been a familiar feature for BICSc branding for many years and, to create more impact, the focus is on the lion’s head, which features throughout the new eye-catching, creative, colourful suite of BICSc branding.
The creative clean sweep has also seen the introduction of sections of the world map to denote BICSc's growing global presence, its worldwide influence and reach. The rebrand reinforces the message that BICSc exacting standards apply everywhere and are universal.
Michelle added: “There have been some tweaks to the BICSc branding over the years, however nothing as dynamic as this new look, which covers all our brands and brings them all together for consistency. It was deemed the perfect time to revisit, revitalise and refresh all the BICSc branding.”
