The Purus Award focuses on good product design and this year’s competition attracted 47 entries from among CMS exhibitors - more than ever before. And for the first time, there were five categories for entry.
Shortlisted in the Machinery category are Nilfisk-Advance, Kärcher and IP Gansow - all with scrubber dryers. In Equipment the finalists are Vermop, TTS, Strato, Unger, Diversey, Dolly and Sprimsol. Georgia-Pacific and SCA are the finalists in the Washroom Hygiene section, while SCA is also a finalist in the Packaging Design category - along with Ecolab. There were no nominations in the category Management and Solutions.
A judging panel will choose the winners in a second round of voting that takes place just prior to the exhibition - which runs from September 20-23. The results are to be announced during the opening ceremony and all 14 finalist products can be seen together on stand 220 in hall 2.2.
