Tell us about your most significant milestones this year

We have seen significant growth in our B2B business avenues over the last 12 months as a result of the popularity of our hero hand drying technologies as well as commercial and personal air purifiers. Additionally, we introduced our most advanced floor care technology – the Dyson Gen5Detect Absolute – and were glad to see it was well received by the Middle East market, who are known for their conscious cleaning habits.

Which is your top selling product? What makes it special?

This year, we have had an increased uptake of our latest hand drying innovation, the Dyson Airblade 9KJ. This is Dyson’s fastest, most energy efficient HEPA-filtered hand dryer on the market. The Dyson Airblade 9kJ hand dryer machine is the result of three years in development and over 700 prototypes. The result is the quietest Dyson Airblade hand dryer yet, powered by the Dyson digital motor V4 that shifts 23 litres of air per second, drying hands in 10 seconds. Thanks to advances in our motor and airflow technology, it uses up to 80% less energy than the original Dyson Airblade hand dryer, while producing up to 85% less carbon dioxide emissions per dry than paper towels. Unlike many other hand dryers, the Dyson Airblade 9kJ features HEPA filters which captures 99.95% of particles, including bacteria and viruses so that the air exiting it is hygienic.

Tell us about your plans for 2024.

In 2024 we have lot of big things coming up that we can’t wait to share, with multiple new products launching across all our categories. One we are particularly excited about is the new Dyson HEPA Big Quiet Formaldehyde Air purifier. This will be Dysons quietest, most powerful air purifier yet, purifying rooms up to 100m 1 , evenly 2 , engineered for professional environments such as offices, classrooms, and hotels.
