PureHealth has announced a strategic partnership with Erth Hospitality, the catering division of Erth Abu Dhabi, to enhance housekeeping and other non-clinical services at SEHA Corniche Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
The collaboration aims to introduce a hospitality-led service model that combines healthcare delivery with premium guest-service standards, creating a more comfortable and patient-centred hospital environment.
Under the agreement, the two organisations will focus on improving key non-clinical functions, including housekeeping, food and beverage services, and guest experience. The initiative seeks to elevate service quality across the hospital while enhancing the overall experience of patients, families and visitors.
The partnership highlights the growing importance of soft facilities management in healthcare, where housekeeping, environmental cleanliness and hospitality services play an essential role in supporting patient comfort and satisfaction.
Shaista Asif, Group Chief Executive Officer of PureHealth, emphasised that healthcare excellence extends beyond clinical treatment to encompass the overall patient journey. She noted that the partnership aims to deliver personalised care while incorporating the warmth and service standards associated with Emirati hospitality.
Erth Hospitality will bring its expertise in hospitality operations, culinary services and culturally sensitive guest experiences to the hospital environment.
Shaikha Al Kaabi, Chief Executive Officer of Erth Abu Dhabi, described the partnership as an important step towards improving the care experience at one of Abu Dhabi's longest-established healthcare institutions. She highlighted the organisation's commitment to creating a welcoming environment where patients and their families feel comfortable and supported.
The initiative also reflects a broader emphasis on integrating hospitality standards into healthcare facilities management. As hospitals increasingly prioritise patient experience, non-clinical services such as housekeeping and catering are becoming important components of overall service delivery.
For the healthcare housekeeping and soft FM sectors, the partnership demonstrates how collaboration between healthcare providers and hospitality specialists can help strengthen service standards and improve the hospital environment.
