Cleaning services witness 95% spike in demand

COVID-19 has gravely affected businesses and operations across sectors the world over. However, on a refreshing note, the ongoing pandemic has resulted in a rise in demand for certain services in the Middle East.

According to a recent report by business consulting firm Frost & Sullivan, cleaning, disinfection, and sanitisation have witnessed a 95% increase in demand during the ongoing crisis. The report by Frost & Sullivan also touched upon the top trending technologies for delivery of future FM services. Artificial intelligence, touch-less interfaces, robots, and big data/analytics are the major technologies that FM companies will implement in the post-COVID-19 world.

The UAE FM market, which is one of the most advanced FM markets in the Middle East, will see high traction in sensor technology, the report stated.
