Al Hosn Green Pass scrapped

Al Hosn Green Pass is no longer needed to enter any public spaces, the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) has announced.

In a special COVID-19 media briefing, the authorities said no one will need to show a Green Pass to enter any buildings from 6 am on Monday November 7.

The only use for Al Hosn now is to show a vaccine certificate and PCR test results if needed.

Operators are reminded that while NCEMA rules are followed in Abu Dhabi, in Dubai the Dubai Municipality set the rules in restaurants. However, they usually follow the NCEMA rules.

Other updates mentioned in the briefing include the announcement that all restrictions related to COVID-19, with the exception of wearing face masks in health facilities and centers for people of determination, have been removed.
