Following the launch of the Masters Course in food safety management at the Dubai Men’s College, early this year, the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) announced the launch of the course on 6th April in Abu Dhabi as well. The purpose of the launch was to inform invited members of the government and private sectors about the new MSc in Food Safety Management and the new Centre of Excellence in Food Safety at the HCT.
The launch provided an overview of the academic study, vocational training and research services that will be offered by the Centre of Excellence. The event was extremely well received by the hospitality and catering industry in Abu Dhabi on the day.
“All of our food safety qualifications are unique in that they are accredited within the UAE, as we are a part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, and internationally acknowledged by Chester University in the United Kingdom,” said Mark Hale, associate dean of Dubai Men’s College.
